Here are some renders of a few characters from No One Lives Forever 2. I've tried to include a range of character types. For each character I have included a higher res version, a shaded wireframe image, and a composite of the textures.

I make a point to attend life drawing sessions as often as I can. I consider this to be the key to continuing to improve at creating believable low polygon character models. Here are several samples of ball point pen sketches from life. I will try to post some pencil and charcoal drawings as soon as I get a chance to scan them. I wish I had more time to spend updating this page because I am continually learning.

 

Digital Life Painting

These were painted from life using Photoshop7 and/or Painter7 on a laptop. Doing these has been a fun learning experience.
A few months ago (10-03) I started learing oil painting. I have a finally have a few that I'm not afraid to post. I'll add them here soon.

 

I'm continuing to compile some other game related art and some personal

work, which will be put here as soon as possible.
